Halloween lets you step into another persona, whether for a night or a series of events, allowing that thrill of pretending and suspending disbelief. This year, I’ve created my own costume—becoming the cosmos, a space goddess. Last year, I was a forest nymph. Every year, I pick something that reflects my current inspiration, and the joy of crafting a costume is a part of the excitement.
Why do I still love to pretend as an adult? Because it’s fun to step into a new world with wigs, makeup, and an outfit that let me embody someone or something else, even just for a moment.
That’s also why I love interior design. It’s all about transformation—taking a blank or drab space and turning it into something magical, a reflection of the person who lives there. Each house tells its own unique story, weaving together pieces of someone’s life. Just like with Halloween, there’s a suspension of disbelief as we transform a space, playing tricks on ourselves to see the potential and bring it to life. The effort may be big, but the results are always worth it—and everyone feels the excitement of the change!
As autumn unfolds, the trees come alive in vibrant shades of orange, gold, and red, showcasing nature’s breathtaking transformation. Fall is a season of dramatic change, where every turn reveals bold, beautiful shifts that invite us to slow down and savor the splendor of the moment.
